Cancellation Policy
This document is a draft and is being finalized. It may change before our official launch.
Because SafiriFlow designs each trip individually and works with a range of suppliers, deposit and cancellation terms are not fixed across all bookings. Instead, the specific terms that apply to your trip are set out clearly in your written quote and booking confirmation before you commit to anything.
Why cancellation terms vary
A trip might involve a flight, several accommodation providers, ground transport and local activity operators, each with its own cancellation and refund policy. Some suppliers require a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking; others allow free cancellation up to a certain number of days before travel. Because these policies come from the suppliers themselves, we pass through the terms that actually apply to your itinerary rather than quoting a single generic policy that wouldn't be accurate for every trip.
A typical structure (example only)
The table below illustrates a common shape for deposit and cancellation terms in leisure travel. This is an example for illustration only; the final terms in your quote will confirm what actually applies to your booking.
| Timing | Typical condition (example) |
|---|---|
| At booking confirmation | A deposit is typically required to secure accommodation and services |
| More than 60 days before travel | Cancellation may incur loss of deposit only |
| 30–60 days before travel | Partial cancellation charges commonly apply |
| Within 30 days of travel | Higher cancellation charges, up to the full trip cost, are common closer to departure |
Your actual terms may differ from this example in either direction depending on the suppliers, destinations and season involved in your specific trip.
What we recommend
- Read the cancellation section of your written quote carefully before confirming a booking, and ask your travel expert to clarify anything that isn't clear.
- Consider travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, since this can offset the cost of supplier cancellation charges if your plans change unexpectedly.
- Ask about amendment terms as well as cancellation terms; changing dates or travelers can sometimes be handled differently from a full cancellation.
Changes after booking
If your plans change after a booking is confirmed, contact your travel expert as soon as possible. Depending on supplier policies, it may be possible to amend rather than cancel, which can reduce or avoid charges compared to cancelling outright.
Force majeure and events beyond our control
Where a trip is affected by circumstances beyond anyone's reasonable control, such as extreme weather, natural disasters or government travel restrictions, the applicable supplier policies and any relevant travel insurance will generally govern what refund or rebooking options are available. We will always aim to help you understand your options in these situations.
Questions before you book
If you'd like a clearer sense of typical terms for a specific destination or supplier before requesting a full quote, mention it when you submit your inquiry and a travel expert can flag anything relevant early in the conversation.
